Installation, moving image, costumes and sound
Developed for Haus für Medienkunst Oldenburg
The work begins with 40 film costumes borrowed from Master Muhammad Jamil, each representing a character once performed in Lollywood, from ordinary figures to superheroes. Working with writers, these costumes become the starting point for characters, emotions, acts, and sound. The project develops as a walk-in, multi-channel installation: an open film with costumes at its centre, extending into moving images, performed sound, retold narratives, and live performative elements.
